I was using a fork and wedge. The elongation may have been because of one or both of two reasons: imperfect collimation or the fact that I forgot to tighten my guide scope eyepiece tube and it was a little loose. I'm not sure the color will be adequate but I'll try it. If it's not good enough I won't post it.
