I was able to set my telescope up at my house and at my work. There were a few clouds to deal with, but for most part clear views of the sun, Mercury, and some fairly impressive sun spots. The locations were South Jordan, and Draper.
I went to the group at Harmons-Draper. I not take a scope, but enjoyed the variety of filters and the great views provided by the group. I too, was struck by the discernible difference between Venus & Mercury. Dan forwarded me a nice photo taken in Denver using his short tube 80 and a Nikon DSLR though a glass filter. All in all, a very enjoyable morning. 73
