Thank you for all the responses, there is no budget from the school for software........... so any software i want for my Ipod will be at my expense. So thank you for all the advice. I will be looking into a few games my son wants to pay over the internet from his house with me. That should be a new and fun experience, and astro apps. This should be exciting to get a new electronic Ipad. Now I have to wait for apple to ship it out and then everyone will want one. Someone for SLAS recommended it a couple years back and from then I have not used my charts or portable clock, planisphere and sometimes not even my log book.
