Patrick, All I did on the processing was use CCDStack and use their cookbook PDF instruction manual following it step-by-step. CCDStack unfortunately costs $199 but you can download a fully operational version for 30 days without buying it to see if you like it enough to shell out the cash. -----Original Message----- From: utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utah-astronomy-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Patrick Wiggins Sent: Wednesday, April 21, 2010 1:55 AM To: Utah Astronomy Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Projects Hi Don, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. For whatever reason the system still has not sent me your message so I'm actually replying to someone else's message who replied to you. Gremlins? Very nice job on the images. Everyone else does so much better than me at processing my data I'm beginning to think I should just stick with gathering photons and letting the more skilled among us turn them into pictures. And, yes, I did see the dark line in M-63. The seeing must have been pretty good last night to allow that much detail. Thanks again, patrick

Click on the images to get the full size version. Note the dark line in the lower part of M63. This is a real feature as can be seen on other images of the object. See http://www.noao.edu/outreach/aop/observers/m63fisher.jpg
