You said "only a c-14" - I would love to have a look thru it someday. I have a C-8 and C-11 (among a few others) and would soemtime see what an additional 3 inches brings over the C-11. Quite a bit I bet, especially with deep sky objects. Do you use a focal reducer with the C-14? Good Luck with your project. What type of building is it going in to go up 2 stories and were will you view from - thru a roof opening? It's only a C-14 but the pier has to reach to the second floor, hence the pier's large size.
