The Goddard comment seems to vindicate Bishop's O.H. piece on white dwarf visibility in amateur scopes. It's a point nobody seemed to care about acknowledging, that is, that it's not really a white dwarf until the planetary nebula has disappeared. Interesting piece, Joe.
