Assuming the secondary isn't offset toward the primary in it's own plane; a practice still used to minimize secondary size in fast systems. Glatter touches on this and notes that it is easier to work with using a holographic laser. Personally, the amount of light blocked by using a slightly larger secondary and merely centering it is negligible.
