Hi gang, I told Chuck that I would repent and post to this group more often since I am a born lurker. Count me in as one who loves aviation too. I have not flown since the mid 80's but I had a Commercial/Instrument ticket. I flew a lot of hours in OH-58 helicopters with my friend Stan Berg who was the Life-Flight pilot that died a few years ago in a blizzard crash. I was infantry and he was a flying Warrent Officer. We were in the 101st Airborne Division together. Good memories. Oh and I flew a TF-102 Delta Dagger (supersonic fighter) when I was 14 years old and a member of Civil Air Patrol. My favorite shows right now are "A Plane Is Born" and "A Chopper Is Born". Both are Wings channel programs about building flying things. Tnx es 73 de n7zi Gary Liptrot Why buy something for ten bucks when you can make it for a hundred... How many other aviators have we got out there?
You can add me to that list, especially now that I'm getting paid to fly (jumpers) again.
And Wayne, what are you building? I'd like to know that too.
