I am lucky to get up twice per month. I used to get 150 hours per year, but not any longer. 100LL is too expensive. ________________________________ From: Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, February 2, 2013 4:58 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] Antelope Island sunset (redo) On 02 Feb 2013, at 13:46, Brent Watson wrote:
Overflying that facility is also frowned upon.
Yeah, I like the note on the sectional reading "Notice For reasons of national security pilots are requested to avoid fight at and below 8000 MSL in this area." For the record, I was a 8500. I stayed high not wanting to experience what this guy did flying his glider over a power plant: http://www.aopa.org/aircraft/articles/2013/130110secret-no-fly-zone.html
How often do you fly, Patrick?
I try to get up at least twice a week and log at least 4 hours a week. But with the recent weather I was not able to fly at all last month until the last day of the month. And you? patrick _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Send messages to the list to Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com The Utah-Astronomy mailing list is not affiliated with any astronomy club.
