On sort of a similar note. If anyone needs a place to stay for the eclipse event you're more than welcome to sack out at my place. I live in St. George so I am not very far from any venue you care to visit around these parts. I think I'll just view the eclipse from here (weather permitting and Chuck's filters for my scope). I don't think I'll be disappointed by the view from St. George. There's some areas to park where you can get a fairly decent view of the western horizon. This offer goes for the transit if anyone happens to be down here at that time. Just post to this server if there is any interest. I've got a hot tub, a pool, a fairly extensive library and if my wife is in a good mood she can be almost pleasant. Lots of talk of buses and stuff to the Eclipse next May. I am just curious that if I was willing to drive, would anyone be interested in car pooling down? I can fit four comfortably but if enough people are interested in this, we could look at a rental of a mini-van and fit 6 in one.
Anyone I am just curious if anyone is interesting in car pooling and sharing the cost of gas?
