I'm the latest guilty party, but actually deliberately included the previous posts in case someone needed a reminder who and what I was talking about with the school start parties. I have some (I hope) constructive criticism for posting to this list, specifically replying to messages on this list.
I notice that many who reply to the list write only a sentance or two in their message, which is great. Short and sweet. The problem is that the message also quotes the 40 line original message.
If I might make a suggestion, please delete all of the message that you are replying to, except the specific parts that concern you. If you are replying to many parts of the message thats fine, but simply leaving in the whole message for no reason takes up bandwidth and can make your reply hard to read, expecially if you get the list in the digest form, which I do. The digest version can be very confusing at times. It should only take a few moments to do this.
Please don't assume that I am in any way angry. I get the list in digest form to ease my already painful inbox experience. I just want to make it a little easier and faster to read.
