Rodgers idea all together. He hit me up about it close to a week ago. I told him I would buy the pancake batter (I have). We just thought instead of going over to Denny's we would whip up a pail of batter and have some hotcakes with friends. Being a club member has never been a prerequisite to attending "advanced training" and I see no reason why we would prevent anyone attending from sharing with us. Still, once you have eaten the clubs pancakes you may feel more inclined to join but we won't even mention it. Right?
Well if it is for real, shouldn't a SLASBlast go out to SLAS members advising those who wish to partake to bring plates and utensils (nothing disposable, please)? SLAS supplying butter, blueberries, chocolate chips and syrup or should we bring our own?
Someone pointed out that there is wild hemlock growing out there. I guess we could mix that in and rename the place Jonestown. :)
Just too bad the maryjane I tried growing out there years ago never took hold...
