Kim, Before you flagellate yourself too hard, you should remember that (on January 3rd, if you check out the archives), it was Patrick that published the idea on this newsgroup, thereby taking it from a private discussion to a public discussion(spectacle?) (sport?), when he published the idea and asked about the physics of terminal velocity.
