Very nice Patrick! Amazing, the kinds of images you've managed to capture in the time it takes to boil an egg... ;o) I've got a picture on my desk at work of M51 that a friend of mine (Neal Williams of Alpine) took back in '93 on hypered film in a 90-minute exposure thru a 10-inch; the image quality is still not as good as what you took in 1/30th the time. Keep 'em coming, and thanks for posting... Rich --- Patrick Wiggins <paw@trilobyte.net> wrote:
Between chasing asteroids tonight I shot a few fun pictures. All with the C-14 @ f/5.5 and the ST-10 unguided. No special processing with only dark and flat frames applied. M-101 was a 6 minute exposure, M-51 was 3 minutes, M-63 6 minutes (no flat field) and M66/M-65 2 minutes.
