Hello List: I am having problem with authentication using a 3Com. Following is my system: - O/S is RH 6.2 LINUX - Authentication is pap In LINUX, I have set both ARC1 & ARC2 in the /etc/hosts table. I can ping both ARC1 & ARC2 from LINUX box. Using CLI, I have set the ARC cards with the following settings: - set ppp authentication_preference pap - set ppp receive_authentication pap - set authentication primary_server 12.21.237.3 (LINUX Server) - save all When I try authenticating a user: _auth user pw there is a long delay and the authentication fails with an status: 1431135503 Any suggestion?
