New chassis is populated with old cards and I am wondering if a software upgrade will have an effect. ARC ver 4.1.13, NMC ver 6.2.17, DSP ver 3.5.13

have you checked if your chassis is configured for auto config. It has been a long time but I am pretty sure that the NMC controls the card auto config. Try a show chassis and see if the DSP's show up in the correct slots. If not, config the slots with the cards and see if you accept calls. -- Lewis Bergman Texas Communications 4309 Maple ST.
