Problem Figuring out E1 DSP's
I got a chassis with 7 E1 DSP's in it, a Hiper ARC, and a Hiper NMC. At first, TCM wouldn't even let me see settings on the DSP's. Someone here on the list suggested updating the code on the NMC. So I loaded 8.6.3 on it. Then I could see the trunk settings. NOW... if I go to Configure->Actions/Commands, it won't let me run any commands on the DSP's. I can't even force a hardware reset. After I try to execute any command, in the status area at the bottom of the window, it displays the Device(s), pauses for a few seconds, then just says "No Command" under the Command column and nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thanks, Joel -----Original Message----- From: David E. THIS is why I love mailing lists. Thanks! (If the semo in semo.net is for Southeast Missouri, I owe you a beer next time I'm in Cape Girardeau.) Sounds like you're using the read string instead of the write community string.
