I have user that get forwarded across a vpn circuit to their own login server from my HiperArc. we reset our hiperarc, and now thier custom software no longer works because it requires the inital prompt from the HiperArc to be something specific currently ours looks as if its the default one. Welcome to 3Com Total Control HiPer ARC (TM) Networks That Go The Distance(TM) I have looked everywhere on the Hiper Access Router Management Software ,and I can't seem to find this string change anywhere. Can somebody please elaborate on how to change this default prompt. I noticed there is a login_prompt="Welcome Blah\r\n" but this was under the "Dial Out" section of the manual. As well i have noticed a set command prompt message I'm assuming this is setup from the console connection of the HiperArc directly or can it be accomplished through the TCM software? Thank you In Advance, Rod
I believe you can do what you're asking with a: set modem_group all prompt "whatever you want your banner to look like here" save all Todd ----- Original Message ----- From: Rodney Rindels To: usr-tc@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Wednesday, December 29, 2004 11:36 PM Subject: [USR-TC] Changing Default Login Banner I have user that get forwarded across a vpn circuit to their own login server from my HiperArc. we reset our hiperarc, and now thier custom software no longer works because it requires the inital prompt from the HiperArc to be something specific currently ours looks as if its the default one.
