RE: [USR-TC] need help! hiper dsp/pri keeps going to
all of the pri's are set for 5ess the other 10 work just fine. its just the one new one. matthew ---- Original Message ---- From: farber@admin.f-tech.net To: usr-tc@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: [USR-TC] need help! hiper dsp/pri keeps going to Date: Tue, 8 Apr 2003 21:58:01 -0400 (EDT)
Biggest one will be Switch type.
Some switch type are 'close' - 5ESS and NI2 are ones that I had problems with. The switch type was NI2 but my DSPs were at 5ESS... worked for a while but would drop B's, go remote out of service and other errors.
Verify your line coding and switch type with telco... have them fax it to you if they can so if it changes you can show them.

Maybe have the telco confirm the new PRI is setup exactly the same as the rest of them....assuming you checked ALL the config settings to confirm they are the same. Best bet would be to just load all the settings from one of the other dsps...you can do that from tcm.

ok here is the situation...
i have a chassis with 11 hiper dsp's active, dual hiper arc's and a hiper nmc and dual 130's
i had 10 pri's running fine for the last two months.
added the 11th pri yesterday. it seems to run fine for a few hours, fills up with callers etc.
then it will get less "busy" than the rest of them, until it has nobody on it.
when i check it all of the channels are remote out of service.
if i do a hardware reset it goes back to normal for a few hours and then it does it all over again.
i have checked all of a the settings and i can't figure out what is wrong.
it seems to be identical to the other 10 pri's/hiper dsp's
same version etc.
can someone help me please?
thanks
matthew
