While reading 3COM TC1000 documentation for HiPer ARC, I noticed two settings; (1) enable authentication remote & (2) enable authentication local. I believe that 'authentication remote' is to authenticate the user on a remote server, such as RADIUS. However, I do not know what the 'authenticate local' setting is? Can someone explain. Kirti
