I'm running 3.5.105 on my DSP's and it seems very stable and reliable, no complaints from customers, I haven't seen any problems at all. The few customers that have had any connection issues I can solve by connecting their modems to phone lines that work. Haven't found a modem that wouldn't work right with it. Haven't even rebooted my rack in almost 3 months. -----Original Message----- From: Travis M. Hi Joel and all, this is a V.92 modem issue and while not 100% on-topic for Total Control, it is of concern to us V.92 TC ISP's... We've run across several machines in the last couple weeks that don't recognize Lucent (specifically TelePipe Blitzz BFI306D) Modems. The don't show up in the BIOS Hardware list and Windows (9x/ME/XP) doesn't detect the new hardware either. These computers include a Compaq, a Packard Bell, a clone (Diamond Flower Motherboard) and an IBM Aptiva, so it's not a particular Bios / Motherboard or any other common issue. These modems work the best for us otherwise, with 8 second Quick-Connects, very fast transfers, and functional MOH Software, and we've never had a problem with the Blitzz BFI303's we were getting in the past. The last shipment was 306's and that's the only time we've noticed the problem. So, any comments or help? Any suggestions of a better, killer modem that we should try? Thank you all for any help you can be. Todd
