Dear Sir
We are writing you to introduce best internet communication equipment (Remote Access Server) which is authenticated and used all over the world called "3Com TCH(Total Control Hub) for dialup internet (V.92 56Kbps support)"
Best of luck. We had two of these that wouldn't sell on Ebay for $20 that ended up in the dumpster when we moved. We literally *could not give them away*. :) Charles
We look forward to receiving your reply at an early date. Thank you very much.

None, we've outsourced everything. :) I wasn't knocking the gear, just noting that the market seems a bit dead. Charles

Kirt, I've had pretty decent luck with Qwest (directly) in the past as long as you are ok with a limited hours per account. Just don't surprise them and roll 1000+ customers on to one number from one city. This often causes horrible headaches as the local telcos don't always have the trunks ready for such a move. I have used Uunet/Worldcomm (directly) in the past; however, I was not very happy with their level of service. We had many problems that seemed to always stem from modem issues. They also impose a limit on the number of hours per month each account can dialup. If you are looking for unlimited dialup service MegaPop/StarNet/USLEC has decent prices with no limit on the number of hours. I can however say that their support is not what it used to be. Also watch out for the $500 minimum per month. Starnet offers billing & radius proxy services (as well as a few others). VISP Center has a large number base for unlimited dialup services. The only minimum that we have with them is $39.95/month. Their prices are comparable to StarNet. They also offer more access numbers than StarNet and most of their numbers appear to be serviced by Level 3. VISP Center offers billing & radius proxy services. Another company that offers just about all of the networks out there is CISP. They offer many different dialup networks. CISP has their own call center so you can route support calls to them if you wish. Their offer many Turn-Key solutions and their sales people are friendly and knowledgeable. I've been to their facilities before and all I can say is that they went a little bit overboard. I have never dealt with Level 3 directly; however, I hear that their services are excellent with great customer support. I can't seem to work out a deal due to their high minimums and/or per port charges (I'm in a Tier-3 city). Hope this helps a little bit, Brandon Lehmann Network Administrator Great Lakes Internet Service, LLC. 218 Justice St Fremont, Ohio 43420 blehmann@glis.cc 567.255.3645 On 10/22/05 10:44 AM, "Kirti S. I'll add one more to the list... GlobalPOPS. We've been with them for about 8 months now and only a few minor glitches. They seem to have a wide variety of "configurations" available which allows you some pretty decent flexibility on how you want to provision your service. Cheers,

We were using Aleron (now Cogent) and Velocity West for national dialup before we shut down our own local TCH stuff. Aleron is now Cogent, so we just keep them around for a backup. Velocity West just sucked ass from a support/sales perspective and did not really seem to have much of a clue (we had firewall problems, lots of radius timeouts/retransmits), and they required CHAP on too many numbers. This is an important point, you cannot use CHAP unless you store your passwords in clear-text, which we do not and would not really want to. We are now using Global Pops and are very happy with them so far. They have been responsive with trouble tickets and keep us aware of number removals/changes, etc. Charles
