Thanks. It works. Subject: Re: [USR-TC] Can not save settings Hello. Here is what I do to change settings: Click on the card (dsp) Go to Configure menu and click on HiPer DSP Mapping to check to which template are your modems mapped (suppose you use X). Then click on Configuration button and check X template. In template configuration change whatever you want. Then go to commands. Do: Save template X config to NVRAM Refresh template X config channels Save modem to NVRAM (don't forget that X is a number) Goto NMC and do Save chassis to NVRAM. Reboot your dsp card to check that your settings are saved. Also check that Auto Config on Card Initialization is disabled in NMC configuration, Config Group. Hope this helps. Kirti S. Bajwa wrote:
Hello:
I am trying to setup a 3COM TC. My config is as follows:
Slot 1-10: HiPer DSP Slot 15-16: HiPer ARC Slot 17: Hiper NMC
I notice that when I modify HiPer DSP cards from Total Control Manager (TCM), The settings are not save. I am using th following procedure to update Hiper DSP:
(1) Open TCM & CLICK on a Hiper DSP card (2) CLICK Configure & Select card (3) Select V.92 (or any changable setting item) & set V.92 Master to enable & Set & OK (4) Commands Then Select Software & then Save Both T1/E1 and Modem to NVRAM & Execute (5) (Still under commands) Select Software then Software rest & Execute (6) Select Hardware then Hardware Reset & Execute
All commands result in successful execution. Now if the look into the setting, find that V.92 setting, as changed in (3) above, are back to default.
Does anybody has a clue what am I doing wrong?
Kirti
