Hello List, We've been having some problems with failed calls to our TC. The calls are failing before PPP can be negotiated. After much testing we seemed to have narrowed it down to one Hiper DSP. What we are wondering is: Is there any way to have the TC log (via syslog, snmp trap, or something similar) all incoming call events and why the call was "cancelled" or hung up? I'm well aware that the TC will report to my radius server a disconnect reason once the call has connected and authenticated; however, the calls are failing before any radius requests can be sent. I would love to have the log contain which slot and channel the call came in on and why the call was terminated (if before successful authentication). Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance, Brandon Lehmann Network Administrator Great Lakes Internet Service, LLC. 218 Justice St. Fremont, OH 43420 blehmann@glis.cc 419.334.4551
Hi, Any ideas on this? The list has been pretty quiet the last few weeks. That can't be good. Brandon On 10/20/05 11:41 AM, "Brandon Lehmann" <blehmann@computerloft.net> wrote:

Click the top portion of a hiper dsp (the span) in TCM and then select 'Fault'.....'Trap Settings'. There are several to choose from. Under 'Fault' you will also see 'Trap Destinations' where you can specify your NMS. Todd, Thank you very much. I definitely appreciate it. It is great to know that the list has not "expired" yet as soon would say. Thanks, Brandon On 10/31/05 11:52 AM, "Todd" <berto@core.com> wrote:
