RE: [USR-TC] D-Channel Down on HiperDSP Multispan (on second/thirdspans)
This is probably a stupid question, but are you reconfiguring SPANs 2 and 3 for D channels? Also, does it break in SPAN 4 as well? I have used D channels on 1 and 4. I don't recall if I ever tried it on SPAN 2 or 3. If this is an NFAS setup, you will need to save and reboot for the changes to take effect properly. Also if it is NFAS, make sure you have your Device/Group setup as the TELCO specified. NFAS primary/backup D channel designation is ARC controlled. I also found that sometimes when a D won't come up you can throw it in lineloop a second or two and then drop the loop to bring it up. Having said that, Are all the span ports occupied or are you trying to do this with only one? If only one maybe the DSP expects to see the D channel on the first port and not on any of the rest?
