Hi, Any of you guys have experience with setting up basic OSPF? I need to enable ospf on my ARCs and do a basic configuration. We need to know how to configure the Neighbor and AreaID variables. I have looked at the knowledgebase and it doesn't seem clear. If you should care to contact off-list: MSN: aleostax@hotmail.com Thanks, Adam

I have followed the instructions below, but I am still having problems. The routes are not being propagated to the pop router. What are the sendpolicy commands used for? We've tried it with and without them with no change. This is our current layout. TC -> Cisco POP Router -> Cisco Core Router -> Internet Any information you need from our router guy to help further? -----Original Message----- From: usr-tc-bounces+adam=semo.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:usr-tc-bounces+adam=semo.net@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Todd Bertolozzi Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2004 11:19 AM To: Discussion relating to the 3Com/US Robotics Total Control modemsystems. There could be quite a few things going on. The sendpolicies are for the IP pools. Does the router / arc see eachother as a neighbor? If they don't see eachother as a neighbor you should start there. I would definitely get your router guy invovled. He/She should be telling you what are and ethernet block/subnet you should be using. If all else fails and you're still really having a hard time you can email me off list and I'd be willing to take a look if you don't mind setting up a temp account on the arc.
