Hi, just a disclaimer first : this one is probably a _really_ stupid question but I am very new to Total Controls and a bit lost. We've got an old TC1000 in the following configuration : 1 Dual PRI NAC + Dual E1 NIC 12 Quad V.34 Digital Modem boards (in slots 2-13) 1 NETServer PRI Card 1 NMC I've correctly configured (hopefully) the NETServer, setting all modems on ports S5-S52 active, configuring them as network dialin and so on. The problem is, the Dual PRI NAC doesn't seem to detect all the modem boards. Here is what it reports : Chassis Slot Device Configuration Device Device Slot# Type Slot# Type 1 Dual-E1 9 NONE 2 Quad-mdm 10 NONE 3 Quad-mdm 11 NONE 4 Quad-mdm 12 NONE 5 Quad-mdm 13 NONE 6 Quad-mdm 14 NONE 7 NONE 15 NONE 8 NONE 16 ISDN-GW Still, the modem boards on slots 7-13 are all green, and if I configure one of their ports (say, S37) to be accessible /via/ a telnet session on port 6037, I indeed can talk to the modem on the board in slot 10. Also, the NETServer shows all these ports as being 'ready' and their modems as 'present'. So, where did I screw up ? For reference, here are the version numbers of the two cards' firmware. First, the Dual PRI NAC : Dual E1 CAS Application Card Revision 1.3.97 (Card Id: 27) Boot Code Linked Date : Mon Dec 04 17:41:48 1995 Operation Code Linked Date : Wed Jan 21 17:39:46 1998 And the NETServer : Command> version U.S. Robotics Total Control (tm) NETServer Card V.34/ISDN with Frame Relay V3.5.34 Build date: Jun 19 1997 Build time: 14:02:28 Network Interface Card: Ethernet & Frame Relay Combination (26) ISDN Interface Card : MUNICH32 (4) Packet Bus Circuit : Enhanced Licensed for 60 ports. Again, sorry if this is utterly trivial to solve, but I already tried RTFMing, searching Google, etc., all to no avail, and this is driving me mad :-( Hope someone has the answer (even if it's just « Go RTFM that card's manual at that section »).
