RE: [USR-TC] How to save final settings
Lewis: Thank you for your response. My Problem is not with HiPer ARC cards. I setup these cards and 'save all' & then 'reboot'. They hold their settings. My problem is with settings in TCM. These are the one which are bot being saved. Is there anybody who can help with my original post. Thanks in advance. Hello List:
I am almost done except for that 3COM Chassis cannot hold the final settings. To explain further here is the step-by-step routine I am following:
----------
In TCM, [make all necessary changes to HiPer DSP, then:]
Configure->action/Commands Software-> Save Both T1/E1 and Modem to NVRAM > Execute Software-> Software Reset > Execute
[make all necessary changes to HiPer NMC, then:]
Software-> Save Chassis to NVRAM > Execute
At a console prompt type save all There is a file called config or some such on the hiperarc where all the configs are stored I believe. I really don't know about the gui stuff as I use it mainly for updating firmware. -- Lewis Bergman Texas Communications 4309 Maple ST. Hello. When I do save chassis to nvram it takes very long time (nearly 5-10 minutes). What do you mean in "cannot hold the final settings" ? Alex. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kirti S.
