Patrick, The NAKs actually have 116 modem interfaces and from what I know they support E1/T1/PRI/SS7 configurations. Our NICs specifically designate T1 and have 4 connectors, so I am unsure if an E1 NIC must be used to operate in that configuration. Even so, if a multispan cardset goes for $1000 and allows for greater density and lower power consumption it may be worth it. Please note that Multispans are not compatible with older non-Hiper equipment. -----Original Message----- From: usr-tc-bounces+adam=semo.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:usr-tc-bounces+adam=semo.net@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Patrick Cole Sent: Monday, October 11, 2004 5:42 PM To: Discussion relating to the 3Com/US Robotics Total Control modem systems. Guys,
I heard the market crashed for T1/E1 Multispan cardsets in April of 2004. Does anyone know how much these cardsets are going for now days?
Do you know if these cards are compatible with both E1 and T1 out of the box? Older Hiper DSPs were for either one or the other. _______________________________________________ USR-TC mailing list USR-TC@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/usr-tc
