I tried to set from 9600 to 57600. It didnt help me.. Does NAC NMC have any switch in order reset or clear flash memory? How can I test boot loader? Murad
DIP5 OFF: NMC reads chassis configuration from NVRAM on power up. ON: NMC read factory defaulted chassis configuration from EEPROM Should be able to reset to default, then save config to nvram, then switch dip 5 back and have a reset nmc. -- Adam Barnhill -----Original Message----- From: usr-tc-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:usr-tc-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Murad Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2003 2:08 AM To: usr-tc@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re:[USR-TC] NMC problem I tried to set from 9600 to 57600. Hi Murad, Just a note, I've found that the best way to do it is to turn the chassis off, start up pcsdl, then turn the chassis back on. You can also just remove the front NMC card instead of turning off the whole chassis (in case it's still in service), the important thing is to start pcsdl *before* the NMC starts to boot.
