I didn't think you could change a card from T1 to E1 via a software change. I'm not really sure though. If it's working then I guess you can ;-). I live in the T1 world but I don't forsee any problems necessarily. Hi!
We have NAC cards w/ PN# 69-001914-00 and based on the products list this card is intended for T1/PRI.
Yet we tried to upgrade the OS of the NAC to support the E1R2 link and it was successfully upgraded and also, we set the port to 30 channel. Right now this card is in operational.
My question is, does any issues or problem may arise in the future on what we did?
Would appreciate any suggestion.
