-----Original Message----- From: Kancha . Subject: [USR-TC] connection type I am placing my 3com TC 1000 at telco. Few E1 lines will be connected to TC then from tc I need to connect to a DSL modem which will connect to my ISP. How can i connect my TC to DSL ?? are there any spcial cards for TC ? Can i use the WAN port on TC (rj45) ? The DSL will have v.24 or v.25 or g703 connection type. __________________________________________________ Kancha, The "Wan" port is a 115200 port used to connect primarily a dial up modem too, for remote access. That won't get you to far. The TC1000 use to have DSL support, but that was making it act as a DSLAM. But, you don't want to do that. What you want to do, is to get a DSL router, and connect via ethernet. SO, it would go, ARC => SWITCH => ROUTER. Just like if you had an actual T1.
