Does it require a $1,000+ service contract with someone to gain access to the code downloads? -----Original Message----- From: usr-tc-bounces+cstone=axint.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:usr-tc-bounces+cstone=axint.net@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Kirti S. I went ahead and downloaded the software for each HiPer card, unzipped and then installed it. It worked. Subject: Re: [USR-TC] Software Update Sounds like you don't have the software in the default sdl directory. So TCM is giving you that error b/c it can't find the code. Click on the box to enter a new directory path or put the files in the 3com sdl directory. Todd ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kirti S. Hello:
About an year ago, I purchased two 3Com (each with 1-HiPer NMC, 2-Hiper ARC & 10-Hiper DSP). I was planning to set them up for a friend. I downloaded and installed software (On some of the components):
HiPer NMC: 8.6.3 HiPer ARC: 5.3.110 HiPer DSP: 3.5.12
After about 1+ year of inactivity, I decided to setup 3Com. I noticed that some of the HiPer DSP has old software intalled on them. Using TCM, I decided to update the software and get the following errors:
HiPer NMC: Error: No .nac file Uncheck the slot or enter a new file name
Hiper ARC: Error: (Same) HiPer DSP: Error: (Same)
I noticed that on the Software Download screen Slot colum show cards correctly. NAC/DMF File, SDL File & Status columns are blank.
As I said, last year I had done Software Updates but now I can not. Can somebody help me by showing the light?
Kirti
