Hi Tom, I forgot to mention that I've been using E1R2 link . BTW, I tried to follow your instruction but no setting as what you mention maybe because the config is about for pri and t1 link. The link that I have trouble now is working fine before but when I check the interface lately, found out that the oper status is down on the interface. As for isolation, I tried to switch or put on a working slot and works fine. Now, I'm still trying to isolate the problem. Thank you very much. -Sherwin On Wed, 02 Feb 2005 23:19:21 -0700, GiGoNET Support <tom@gigonet.com> wrote:
Ensure the "Line Interface Source (%Dn)" setting is correct. In the TCM Windows interface, you hold dow nthe control key while clicking on the modems you wish to effect. Then select the "Configure" tool bar option. Then "Programmed Settings", Select "Line Interface Options"; its the last item. If you are running PRI set it to "priTdm", if not, like me, I set it to "t1Tdm". Click set.
Be sure to save your settings to NVRAM. Actions/Commands -> Software -> Save to NVRAM
Oh, one other possible show stopper.. .. select "Call Control Options" instead of "Line Interface Options" and make sure the T1ToneType is set correctly. In my case it is set to "dtmfTones" On my chassis, the "mfTones" option might as well be a "Modem off/on" option, cuz they didn't seem to work when set to "mtTones".
Those are my experiences, good luck.

Hi!
I've noticed that some of the interface were down. With this, some of our clients were unable to get thru. Does anyone could help me to resolve this problem?
Interface Oper Admin Name Status Status slot:5/mod:1 Down Up slot:5/mod:2 Up Up slot:5/mod:3 Down Up slot:5/mod:4 Down Up
Thanks in advance.
