I find an interesting point about tc1000 never experienced before. the console cable for hiper arc and NMC has a small difference in pinout. as I made the cable by myself I understood that. actually hiper consol cable works for both but my nmc console cable works only with nmc and netserver and e1 dsp. I should connect both of pin 1 and 2 of rj45 to pin4 of DB9. Assuming you are POSITIVE that you have the cable plugged into the console port of the arc and not the ethernet, and have the correct nic/nac combination...
The only thing I can suggest trying is pulling both the front and back out, insert the back (nic) with the console plugged into it, and then insert the front (nac) card and see what happends.
Other than that your card might be hosed.

i have a correct consol cable, it works with NMC or Netserver card. but it doesn't work with hiperarc, card jumpers is set for 9600 and i try 9600,19200,57600,115200 but still doesn't work. what do you think about problem?
