The answer is detailed at length at: http://totalservice.commworks.com/Matrixs/2002.cfm Short answer: the CCC field (AAA.BBB.CCC) uses 0-99 for general releases and beta releases. 100-199 is for post-release Emergency Releases or Service Releases. 200-255 is test or debug code (I haven't seen any of these). The old versioning (pre-2002) is detailed at http://totalservice.commworks.com/Matrixs/Pre-2002.cfm The old versioning was much more confusing.
