I have never tried running in a configuration like that, so I wouldn't want to say for sure. With only 4 IP addresses, it is almost as easy to just put in 4 separate client sections... unless you see the need that you will be expanding to 250 ARC's within a very short timeframe :-)
2) My understanding is that the "nastype" for 3Com HiPer box should be "tc"! Please correct me.
I *think* the "tc" type is for the older USR/3Com equipment. "usrhiper" is what I am using here on my HiPER ARC :-) Cheers,
