Ah...indeed...that's true...I was thinking flooding more in the terms of RIP, where the whole database of the router was flooded out, rather than an individual LS entry.
Well, it is very flood like, because when you first boot an OSPF router, all the LSA's come in to that router. So all the LSA's (intial anyways), will be re-flooded in 30 minutes. So, what I am hearing, is that each LSA has its own MaxAge? Thats pretty cool, but on 30 minute intervals from the time you established adjacency, you will probably get "floods" since that would be the bulk of the database....... Brian
