Do you have "IP Classeless" set on the router? Todd ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sergio Gonzalez" <sagonzal@sky.net.co> To: <usr-tc@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 13, 2004 10:36 AM Subject: [USR-TC] Routes propagation issue
Hello.
I've been trying to send a 2 hosts subnet over dial-up on a TC Hub. I've Hiper Arc and Hiper DSP. The route is well applied (when I do a list ip routes it appears good). Also all my HiperARCs run on RIP v2 (propagating ppp IP addresses). When I send the little subnet through a dial-up ppp connection (lets say 192.168.0.0/30) if I look in the routing table of the rest of the routers that belong to the rip group, I found 192.168.0/24 pointing to the Hiper ARC that manages the dial-up connection.
How do I prevent that summarization?. I only need the rest of the routers to see 192.168.0.0/30.
Thanks a lot in advance for the help.
