The NMC DOES have an Authorized Stations list, in which you can limit snmp access to a given set of ip addresses. It would be probably be a good idea to use it. WIthin TCM its uner Security | Authorized Stations.
Hrmm...learn something new every day... Was looking through the MIB for it and didn't see any reference to it...did find it though. nmcAuthAccTable is the table that controls it apparently... An nmcAuthAccEntry consists of nmcAuthAccIpAddr, nmcAuthAccNetMask, and nmcAuthAccDescr; with the obvious values for each.
