Just curious...when you say you've disabled radius, authentication....what did you do?

When you do a show authentication settings command.....are both local and remote auth disabled?

Subject: [USR-TC] HipER ARC L2TP Issues

Hello .. I am trying get setup LT2P on the ARC so ALL calls are tunneled to our Nortel Shasta.

I have done "set tunnel user default type l2tp" and this works.

The issue is that it will first authenticate the user in radius, then it will forward the sessio nto the LAC which then authenticates the user again.

I do not want to the ARC to authenticate the user. It should simply connect the tunnel and then the LAC should authenticate.

I have tried disabling radius, authentication but it will not accept the call when this is done.

any ideas?
