Try to change modem options, for example "set modem_group all type login" and "set modem_group all host_address <your-servers-ip>" and "set modem_group all tcp_port <server-port>" (set modem_group all username <username>, set modem_group all password <password> - those user/pass are used when you authenticate dialing users without asking them user/pass, if you don't change that properties default user will be used. So I am back to my original problem and I know there is a solution out there some where!
When the modem connects I do not want any authentication just the ability for the modem to receive a packet of data and forward it over to a server listening on a specific port.
Any clues???

And from what i am able to understand is that if you call in on the modem in slot:1/mod:1 you should not have to auth in and have telnet access.
I check to see if the service gandl is enable doing list network services and it is DISABLED so i tried doing enable network service gandl and that does not do anything... what am I missing? Oh and using the "add network service" can i have it so that the data from slot:1/mod:1 goes to a port on another server?

I will have a dumb terminal that will dial in and after connecting send a hexadecimal packet of data to the server. The server will decode, process and reply to the data sent and then disconnect.
I want to use the TC RAC to handle the connection and route the packet of data to a port that is listening on a server.
There is not authentication at all in this.
Currently i am setup with a Quad Digital/Analog modem until my T1 comes in for the HiperDSP cards.

I would like to setup my USR TC to allow a connecting that once the modems handshake that a packet of information is sent and routed to a specific port on a server to be processed and replied then the connection dropped!
