Hello all,

I am working on a custom setup and I am trying to figure out what the differences between the Login Services

telnet - I see uses a telnet daemon to make the connection

ping - pings the server that you want!

rlogin - remote login but i do not know anything more than that.

cleartcp - No clue what this is.

Currently in my setup the one that seems to work the best is rlogin but I know nothing about this so I do no know if it is really working.

What does cleartcp and rlogin actually do?

I know this may be very neophite.

I appreciate all the help!
