Save to nvram on the DSPs errors out complaining about "networks must be on difference interface subnet" ... and the error makes absolutely no sense to me. The "hub status" light on the NMC remains red. A power down and power up did nothing. the TCM, when loaded from Windows, shows the power supply, the NMC with the red light, and question mark for every other slot. Trying to do anything to the NMC in the software results in an error, but sadly, I'm not sure if it's just a bad installation of the software. I have just configured a new USR-TC to go into production.
But the slots containing the modems continue to stay in "Operational State: Down" mode..
It's a bit of a long shot, but once you've got everything set to what you think are the correct values, do a 'save to nvram' on all your dsps and a 'save all' on the arc. Then power down the whole mess and see if your problem is still there.
If that doesn't work, give us some specifics about the PRIs and your PRI settings.
Charles
I am positive the PRI going into the HDM cards are OK, because if I plug it into a portmaster, it works instantly.
The card in list chassis is listed correctly.
No matter what I do, it won't take calls, and I get "operational state: down" when I do list inter slot:1/mod:1 (or any other modem for that matter.)
I've tried 3 different cards in 3 different slots.
Is there anything blatant I'm missing?
My knowledge of USR-TC are somewhat limited.. (What I've leared trying to fix them..)....
Any help would be apprecitaed.
