I use random uncompressable data on the "bing" (bing -z -e50 a b ) tests and bandwidth.com is an already compressed jpeg. My ISDN connects are near perfect, most of my analog connects are ok, but some are distinctly slow. The PRI lines run clean, the bing tests do not depend on a backhaul but what I can't understand is how the ratio of connect to bandwidth can vary so much. Jim Tarvid
