Just thought that I would ask on the list.... I have, on occassion had to re-seat my NMC cards because they would stop answering ping/snmp queries. This ALWAYS corrected the problem, however today I have a NMC card that once it was pulled out and re-seated, it still will not answer queries? Is it possible that it has LOST the public IP passwd or lost the IP configuration?
I have had, on several occasions, my (non-HiPer) NMC cards totally loose all of their configuration information, so it is quite possible that this is what has happened (indeed, I have two at one of our remote POPs that are totally unreachable at this moment...eventually I'll send someone up there to reconfig them, but its not urgent) -- Jeff McAdams Email: jeffm@iglou.com Head Network Administrator Voice: (502) 966-3848 IgLou Internet Services (800) 436-4456 _______________________________________________ USR-TC mailing list USR-TC@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/usr-tc
