You have the wrong cards. There are three types of cards that I know of: -Quad Analog: works with analog nic, doesn't work with netserver/arc -Quad Anaolg/Digital: works with analog nic and netserver/arc -Quad Digital: does not work with analog nic, works with netserver/arc Charles -- Charles Sprickman spork@inch.com On Tue, 15 Oct 2002, Jason McCormick wrote:
I received help from this list two odd weeks ago. The end result being I found out I had the wrong type of hardware. I've since acquired "Quad V.34 Digital Modem" cards which I understood to work with the Analog/RS- 232 NICs instead of the simple "Quad Analog Modem" cards. I was also told that I need to have the cards use "Nic" as the line input source. Whenever I choose that in the Total Control Manager and then choose "SET" the option is not retained. Doing another GET from the card returns the value of priTdm. Is there something I need to do to get the cards to take the new value? My setup is as follows:
Total Control Manager v 5.5.1
NMC - Hardware version 2.0, Software version 4.3.8 Modems - Model v34FaxISDN, Hardware Version 3.0, Supervisor Software v 6.1.86, Data Pump Software Version 6.0.0
NIC - USR Analog Modem NIC rev. 1.1.0
This is what TCM tell me under the identification of the modules. Can someone help me out? I can provide any/all data necessary.
Thanks!
