Still haven't gotten to look at the RADIUS issues - but I have found that EVERY WindowsME machine works perfectly. Win95, 98, 98SE, 2000, and XP all have the problems. How's that for wierd? what would be different in ME? -----Original Message----- From: BSmith@solunet.com [mailto:BSmith@solunet.com] Sent: Thursday, December 26, 2002 4:46 PM To: usr-tc@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: [USR-TC] Big Problem - Need Help -----Original Message----- From: Joel - Fox Computers [mailto:jfox@foxcomputers.com] Sent: Thursday, December 26, 2002 5:38 PM To: usr-tc@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: [USR-TC] Big Problem - Need Help Sounds a lot like my problem - looking close at the RADIUS here now. Thanks! ------------------------ If you are using any type of default profiles on your RADIUS, scale it back to the bare minimum. NOTHING extra at all. In your radius user files, just have user name / password / ip [static / 255] depending on where it is coming from. For the user's, just give an IP address and password. Leave all of the fancy stuff off of one user, and test that ... if it works, slowly build it back to where it was. One item at a time. That will let you know if it is a funky RADIUS attribute you are passing. Joel - Since you said that you have 1 arc that works like a champ, and 1 that doesn't. Try running the same software version on both. Are you already? Then, maybe blast it. It could be possible that if you did upgrade it, a while ago, one of those little attributes that people like to set, and just forget can be causing you your heart ache. I know people don't like to start from scratch, but you can have your ARC back with-in minutes, with a brand new configuration that you know works. Or you can have a field day of looking at every each of your config, to see if it is a config problem. Something else you can try, for giggles, is to configure up your 2nd ethernet port, and see if the problem is just related to your ethernet port. That is just a suggestion. Happy Holidays.
