Hmm, that sucks. The problem is I have a NMC 5.5.5 (hardware version 6.0) with 16 megs of dram and 8mb flash, which I want to use in my Hiper system. Unfortunately, the TCM and "list chassis" of the HiperARC won't see the 4 HiPER DSP cards (TCM sees the back cards, but not the front ones.) I figured that the reason was that the NMC wasn't running a HiPER image, so I'd just flash it. Any ideas how to tell what NMC will work with what image? I've got hm080603.dmf and hh080703.dmf, but I'm willing to go to anything that will work with the DSP's. I really don't want to spend $500 for another NMC card just to get these things going. :( On Thu, 2003-08-21 at 21:53, Mike Cisar wrote:
Just a wild shot in the dark, but it sounds like the file you have does not match the NMC you're trying to load it into. There are 4 or 5 different NMC's, all of which need different flavors of firmware files.

I've got the file (hh080703.dmf) but when I enter it into the nac/dmf box of TCM's Software Download menu it says I must specify a NAC file. I even tried renaming it to .nac, but that didn't work either. Can anyone help me out on this? I've heard there is a pcsdl2.exe that will do this, but I can't find it anywhere. It's a bit of an emergency, as this unit need to be upgraded so it can be put in service to replace a dying TC1000/AS5100
