I’ve asked our webmaster to help me get the most recent copy of our State Music Teachers Directory out to those on our website’s UMEA list.  The attached PDF copy has been updated and active links are removed—so they print without the underline.  It should be easier to read.  The Excel file is also updated and you can do a full search.  The links are live and only require a click to send an email to any of your colleagues.  If you are aware of any additions or corrections, please let us know.

We are looking forward to a great conference in St. George this weekend with lots of great sessions designed for elementary teachers through those in higher education.  We are particularly honored to host Scott Shuler—our national NAfME president.  In addition to his other sessions, he’ll share information on how our association is getting out the message of music education advocacy in Washinton D.C. and help us know what we can do to help—here at home.  The national office is really providing some outstanding resources for us to use through the NAfME website and through Groundswell updates.

The UMEA executive board has worked diligently to assemble outstanding sessions which are designed to educate and re-charge all of us.  We hope to see you in all in St. George!
